10″ OF SNOW OVERNIGHT!

WE ARE CURRENTLY CLOSED – NO AVALANCHE CONTROL.  The mountain received a thick blanket of snow overnight.  The snow has turned to rain at the base but it’s still snowing heavily up top!  Winds are strong at the summit reaching 50+ mph, and it’s blustery at the base. Snow levels will rise quite a bit though maybe not quite as high as earlier indicated. Overall it looks like a lot of heavy snow at the higher elevations and rain at the lower elevations into Sunday. We are planning to open Green Valley on Monday (conditions permitting). We will re-evaluate once the warm front passes so please stay tuned.  Don’t give up on your holiday ski plans just yet!

The Mountain Shop & Bootworks will be open Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for custom boot fitting and all your equipment needs.  The store is full of new gear including skis, boots, snowboards, bindings and more.  Receive a $25 Gift Card with the purchase of a new pair of boots, skis or a snowboard.  Season pass holders save 10%.  Beat the rush and get dialed in before the season starts!

The start of our Multi-Week Lessons & Youth Freeride with Ingrid Backstrom has been postponed due to low snow coverage.  We are planning to begin these programs Jan. 10 & 11, conditions permitting.  We want to make sure we can give the best lessons and coaching experience possible.
