Crystal Mountain Trail Clean Up @ Crystal Mountain Resort
Jul 23 @ 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
Time to put the annual Crystal Mountain Summer Clean-up on your calendar! This is a great opportunity to help clean up the slopes we ski all winter long and even rack up some volunteer hours!
Volunteers will meet at 10:00a.m. at the bottom of the Mt. Rainier Gondola. Crystal Mountain will
supply trash bags for each group and a ride to the summit. At the summit the Clean Up leader, Holden Withington will discuss which areas need to be covered during the day and places where trash bags can be dropped off on the way down.
Volunteers will reconvene at the base lodge at 3:00p.m. to compare treasures and enjoy a BBQ hosted by Crystal Mountain.
All you need to bring are the usual items for a day on the mountain in late July. Sunscreen, water, bug repellant and rain gear. Dogs on leashes are welcome!
This event is open to everyone who enjoys the mountains and wants to help keep them clean. It’s amazing how much trash we collect each year proving the importance of this annual event. If you’d like to join us, please RSVP by July 16th to Brianna Stoutenburgh at or by phone at 360-663-3011.
Ragnar Trail | Rainier, WA @ Crystal Mountain Resort
Aug 18 – Aug 19 all-day

Ragnar poster. people sitting around a fire.Ragnar Trail Relays presented by Salomon is heading back to the Evergreen State! Our new venue (which will replace Ragnar Trail Cascades), is located at Crystal Mountain, less than two hours from Seattle. Dubbed Ragnar Trail Rainier-WA, this race features views of mountain lakes, Mt. Rainier and fresh-scented evergreen trees. Grab your team of 8 runners (or ultra-team of 4 runners), and get ready for an unforgettable overnight trail running relay. Not sure how it works? Teams start Friday, and run relay-style, on three different trails, or “loops,” through the night, and into Saturday, until each member has completed all three loops. When you’re not running you’ll enjoy the party-vibe at Ragnar Village, roast s’mores, camp under billions of stars, sleep (maybe), and wait for your turn to run again, and again. Ragnar Trail Relays are like summer camp for adults, with lots of trail running, and no curfew. Mark your running calendar for Aug. 18 -19, we’ll see you at Crystal Mountain!

We’ll see you on the trails this August!
