NEW!  Exploration Series (ages 18+)

This new series is designed to take Intermediates and Expert skiers/riders to the next level.  At this level Crystal recognizes it takes drive, dedication, hard work along with expert coaching to get to the next level.
So, we have created a series combining the unique terrain Crystal has to offer with our top coaches to give you a one of a kind learning experience.   Whether you want to hone your skills in the steeps, navigate the signature bowls of Crystal, explore the trees and cliffs of Northway we have a series for you.

Sign up for an entire series or combine sessions within different series’ to discover the most progression building in your skiing/riding that you have ever experienced. All sessions include lunch and the use of Go Pro cameras for analysis.  Have reservations for your kids in our Snowsports School?  We will take care of it.  Just show up at the new Crystal Mountain Sales Center for your Discovery Series and we’ll check in your kids then escort your them in time for their Snowsports School lesson in our secure meeting area.

Discover the Steeps

This terrain specific series will focus on the unique Crystal terrain along with the exploration and skill development it takes to successfully ski/ride these areas with confidence.  We will discover what it takes to ski the steeps from top to bottom.  Groups are arranged based on ability and snow conditions.

Sessions start promptly at 9:00 a.m.  Groups range from three to six people.

Dates: January 8, February 4, February 25
Cost: $160 Single Session
Time:  9:00 am – 3:30 pm (5.5 hours) – Camps with three people or less will run for four hours.
Lift ticket sold separately.

Explore Basins & Bowls

Crystal Mountain is a geographical phenomenon, with the front side of the mountain made up of three natural basins which are part of what makes Crystal, Crystal.  In this series we will explore Silver Basin, Avalanche Basin, Campbell Basin, Powder Bowl and all they have to offer.  Groups are arranged based on ability and snow conditions.
Sessions start promptly at 9:00 a.m. Groups range from three to six people.

Dates: January 22, February 18, March 11
Cost: $160 Single Session
Time:  9:00 am – 3:30 pm (5.5 hours) – Camps with three people or less will run for four hours.
Lift ticket sold separately.

Navigating Trees & Cliffs

We have all heard the names… Paradise Trees, Penny Dawg’s Cliffs, Puckers Gulch, etc.  But have you skied them?  If not, this is the series for you.  We will discover when the appropriate time is to ski/ride in these areas and when to make the decision to move on.  Developing skills that are needed to conquer some of the most difficult terrain in Crystal will be our main focus.

Sessions start promptly at 9:00 a.m. Groups range from three to six people.

Dates: February 5, March 4, March 25
Cost: $160 Single Session
Time:  9:00 am – 3:30 pm (5.5 hours) – Camps with three people or less will run for four hours.
