The beginner rental pass is perfect for those skiers and riders just getting into the sport and know they will be renting equipment frequently throughout the season. Sizes of equipment are available for all ages. The seasonal rental pass includes skis or snowboard, boots, poles, and a helmet for the day. Please note that all gear must be returned at the end of each day and reserved online prior to the day of use. The pass is valid any day of the regular season. Reserve gear in advance for guaranteed availability.

The performance skis are wider, longer and have more rocker in the tip and tail which make it easier to explore more advanced trails around the mountain. This product is for those of you who don’t want to invest in purchasing equipment, loading the car, and hauling gear up from the parking lot. Instead, one of our pros will get you all set up and waxed for a great day at Crystal.


What’s Included in the Performance Rental Pass?

WHAT IS THE BEGINNER & PERFORMANCE PASS?
NEW 2024- Both the beginner and performance pass are designed for people looking for a great way to enter or improve their skiing and riding at Crystal. These passes offer unlimited rental gear for the entire season. All equipment must be returned at the end of each use.

Beginner Pass includes: Beginner skis, boots, poles and a helmet, or a beginner snowboard, boots, bindings and a helmet (other clothing and accessories not included).

Performance Pass includes: Performance skis, boots, poles and a helmet.

The performance skis are wider, longer and have more rocker in the tip and tail which make it easier to explore more advanced trails around the mountain.

This product is for those of you who don’t want to invest in purchasing equipment, loading the car and lugging gear up from the parking lot. Instead, one of our pros will get you all set up and waxed for a great day at Crystal. This season also has a new added perk, *each member can take your favorite gear with you (for up to one week) on a special vacation (with prior approval).

Adult & Young Adult Beginner skis- This season we have the new Rossignol Experience 76. Sizes include: 136cm, 144cm, 152cm, 160cm, 168cm, 176cm sizes.

Adult & Young Adult Beginner snowboards- This season we have the new Rossignol EXP3 Rail. Sizes include: 135cm, 140cm, 145cm, 150cm, 155cm, 160cm and 165cm sizes.

Child Beginner skis- This season we have the new Rossignol Terrain 74.

CAN I BOOK IN ADVANCE TO SAVE TIME CHECKING IN?
YES- Once you have purchased your pass online, we will send you a private promo code to use to register for your gear in advance for any day this season. When you reserve a rental in advance, you can skip the line at the register and go directly to boot fitting to get you through the shop quick. By letting us know what day you are visiting, your rental contract will be open and ready for your visit. You will also be able to look back at every rental used to dial in your preferences.

  • Everything is 1st come, 1st serve and though we cannot guarantee a specific model and size, we always will do our best to accommodate.
  • Every renter is responsible for the condition and quality of gear checked out. If gear is lost, stolen, or damaged beyond repair the renter is held liable to purchase or replace said gear.
  • To save even more time, try to get an early start and show up before the rush.
