    • Who Can Participate?

Due to the challenging nature of some elements of this course, participants must be at least 6 years old, weigh at least 50lbs, and be at least 42” in height to participate. Due to overhead cables and harness fitment, we also impose a maximum height of 6’6” and maximum weight of 250lbs. Women who are pregnant may not participate in this activity due to the inherent risks. If you are recovering from an injury, have recently had surgery, or have a medical condition, please consult your healthcare provider as these may prohibit your participation. Participants will be required to walk short distances on uneven terrain and navigate course elements requiring some degree of balance on ropes, log beams, and other elements.

      How Long is the Tour?
The course is a 3-hour tour from start to finish. This includes time to get your gear on, go through our safety briefing and ground school instruction, and navigate the course! The course is designed with multiple levels of difficulty, participants typically begin easy, and progress to more difficult elements later in the tour. A participant who completes all elements before the 3-hour limit will be allowed to repeat challenges, hang out on the central platform, or head to the gear-return area early to conclude their tour.

      How Early Should I Arrive?
Participants should plan to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to their tour start time. A shuttle will depart from the base of the Chinook chairlift 15 minutes before the tour start time. The course is located in Discovery Meadow and will require an uphill walk on uneven ground if the participant chooses not to take the shuttle.

How Many People Are Allowed on the Course?
Tours depart hourly and participants will progress through the course in a fluid manner as other groups enter and depart the course. While the course can accommodate many participants, each element is limited to 1 participant at a time and no more than 4 to a platform. This maintains a small group focus and more personal experience out on the course. We maintain a low guide-to-guest ratio and your guides will be stationed throughout the course to provide assistance as needed.

If you are interested in booking this experience for a large group, consider contacting us for custom group options!

      What Should I Wear?
We are located in the mountains where the weather can be cooler than in town and change quickly. We recommend bringing plenty of layers so you can adjust to cooler/warmer temps. We also highly recommend bringing a rain jacket. Even if the day starts sunny, rain can move in unexpectedly.

      What About Footwear?
Closed-toed shoes are required to participate on this course. We recommend sturdy shoes or hiking boots that offer some ankle support but allow dexterity on the course.

      What is the Cancellation Policy?
Flying Raven ticket purchases are non-refundable. You may reschedule your tour up to 48 hours in advance of the scheduled tour. You will forfeit your tour slot if you miss the 48-hour deadline reschedule or if you are not ready to go at the start time indicated on your reservation.

How do I Make a Reservation for a Large Group?
For groups of 15 people or more, please reach out to groupsales@skicrystal.com to book a reservation.

      What Equipment is Needed?
All guests will wear a full body harness, helmet, and gloves while participating in the course. Crystal provides all the necessary technical equipment to enjoy this adventure!

      Can I Take Pictures?
Yes! Photos from the ground or safely station on a tree platform are encouraged. Cell phones and other unsecured cameras must be kept in a zipped pocket while on the elements to avoid dropping them. We are not responsible for any dropped or damaged phones/cameras.

What if I Just Want to Watch My Friends?
Observers are welcome! Do note that most of the course is high up off the ground and in the forest. Observers must remain safely behind the fencing at all times and will not be able to walk underneath the course. The nearby Quicksilver Yurt has a variety of refreshments for sale and a relaxing sundeck to enjoy while your friends and family are on their adventure!
